Warwick Behrns offers a comprehensive equine dentistry service covering all aspects of equine dental procedures, using up to date equipment and current knowledge.

Warwick performs routine treatments on horses, using both hand and power tools.   The majority of horses Warwick works on are not sedated, however advanced work requires a veterinarian to sedate horses and Warwick works with a number of vets to perform these procedures.

Warwick covers the upper North Island area, from the Waikato to Far North. Warwick will be travelling to South Auckland once a month for 2-3 days.

Warwick works on groups of horses, either at clients properties or at one of the below mentioned clinics. The minimum booking number is 5 horses and the maximum number of horses for a day is 10.

You can book Warwick to treat your horse's teeth at one of the following clinics:

Dairy Flat Vet Clinic: Most Wednesdays.
Everything Equine (Dave Jones, Waimauku): One day a month.
Abderry Farm (Glenbrook): One day a month.
Whangarei RDA: One day a month.
Waikato Trips: Twice a year (April & October)

NZ Equine Dentistry current rates for routine work as of 6th June 2016 are as follows:

Routine Maintenance: $140 per horse
Power work: $200 per horse

Abderry Farm charge a yard fee of $12 per horse for the use of their facilities, payable to NZ Equine Dentistry at the time of treatment.

Payments can be made by cheque or cash on the day or through an invoice being sent after the appointment. Invoices can be paid in one payment by internet banking or cheque or by regular AP, however internet banking and invoicing must be cleared through the office prior to the appointment.  An admin fee will be charged for overdue accounts not showing regular payments on the account.
